  • 6 places for 1-year-olds*
  • 30 places for 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds

Spaces Available

We have different intakes throughout the year, where we advertise on our website and on our social media.

Our next intake for 1-year-olds is August 2021.

We have places available for 2-year-olds.

How to Apply

If you would like to apply for a place at our nursery or add your child's name to the waiting list, please complete and return the Application form along with the supporting documents stated on the form.

We ask that you choose a minimum of 2 consecutive days attendance per week.

Once we have received your application and we are able to accommodate the requested attendance, you will be sent a provisional offer letter along with an invoice to pay the £50 registration fee and £100 deposit per child. This will be sent via email.

Upon receipt of payment, we will confirm your sessions are secure, and arrange Induction and settling in sessions.  1 month of nursery fees is required in advance. Your offer letter will have a due date when this will need to be paid.

The £50 registration fee will be put towards your child's settling in sessions. The £100 deposit is refundable and will be deducted from your last invoice once 1-month notice is given informing us that your child will be leaving.

If you are eligible for funding, you do not need to pay these fees. You will need to show proof of Funding for your 2-year-old in the form of a letter from Haringey or your council.

Should you wish to cancel your child’s place at Little Engineers Nursery prior to starting or during the settling in sessions, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible. The nursery fees paid and the registration fee will not be refunded. You will be able to receive the £100 deposit within one calendar month.

Please see fees and charges for more information.

Waiting List

Since we are a small nursery there will be times when there are no spaces available. We maintain a waiting list and when a place is available our staff will contact the parents of the next child on the list. This does not guarantee that you will be able to receive your requested days or times. You will be given 72 hours to decide whether you would like to accept the place, or it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

We regularly review our occupancy, and availability is assessed taking in any leavers or room moves. If your child does not receive a place to start at the requested time, they will remain on the waiting list until a place becomes available. We will aim to give you an update on your position after each review.

Allocation of Places

Places are offered on the basis of the following order of priority:

  1. A child who is currently at the Nursery wishing to increase their sessions.
  2. A child with a sibling already at the nursery
  3. The date of waiting list registration

Your 3-year-old can stay with us until the ending of the term after their 3rd birthday. For example, if your child's birthday is 15th October 2016, they can stay with us until Thursday 19th December 2019. Please click here to see our leaving table.

We run a Holiday club during school half-term holidays and the summer holiday, so if you need your child to still attend after they have left the Nursery, please contact the office to book your child in.
