The ‘Little Engineer Nursery’ is located within Tottenham Hale Village. The Hale Village is a development with a diverse community and local amenities close to the excellent transport links. We opened our doors to the public in September 2017 and received a “Good” rating from Ofsted in December 2019.
This satellite nursery is part of our Tri-School Early Years team and the professional network. Our Nursery is in a purpose-built and carefully designed new building, equipped with the best resources. We value our members of staff and invest in their personal development.
Early Years Practitioner
Salary: £22,185 per annum (Scale 3 point 5)
We are looking for early years practitioner with a relevant level 3 qualification. We require a minimum of 1 year of continuous experience working in a Nursery setting with ages 9 months -3 years old. This position is based on 36 hours per week Monday to Friday. We will expect the candidate to contribute a high standard of care for children and provide age-appropriate, fun, stimulating and educational activities. You will be a key worker with the responsibility to take observations and assessments and provide activities that will benefit each individual child's development.
The successful candidate will provide a safe and stimulating environment for all children. You will be required to work to high Safeguarding standards adhering to all Nursery Policies and Procedures.
Third in Charge
Salary: £23,826 per annum (Scale 4 point 9)
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Third in Charge with a minimum level 3 qualification. You must be enthusiastic, energetic and motivational. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong practitioner to make their mark and grow within Little Engineers.
The Third in Charge will be working with a dedicated team and may also have the responsibility of being a Room Leader. You would also be expected to take responsibility for decision making, operational processes and ensuring a safe, caring and welcoming professional workplace.
The Third in Charge will assist the Nursery Manager with planning, coordination and the development of the Nursery and its staff team. You will help with training and should also be able to manage the day to day tasks of the Manager/Deputy Manager in their absence.
