Flowers, Bridges & Transport
In Little Engineers at Tottenham Hale, the children have shown an interest in 'London Bridge' and transport.
As a result, we have taken the children on an outing to visit the new Bridge in Hale Village that connects the new flats on the other side of the canal. The children enjoyed walking over the bridge and looking down to see the boats and ducks. To continue on this theme, we decorated our own bridges using coloured paper and different coloured paint.
We also went on an outing to the wetlands to look for mini-beasts where we spotted lots of different coloured dragonflies, butterflies, bees and other minibeasts. The children found some snails in the garden that we noticed had been bubbling. We used the Ipad to research and found out that snails let out bubbles when they feel like they are in danger or scared. The children responded with ' When I'm scared I cry'.
